Inside Line Promotions – BISMARCK, N.D. (July 12, 2017) – Andee Beierle is excited for the opportunity to race closer to her home this weekend as the BDS Motorsports team travels to Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D., to compete with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.

It’s been a month since Beierle last climbed into her sprint car and she’s eager to compete on yet another new track. In only her second year in a 360ci sprint car and her first competing with the ASCS National Tour, Beierle has competed on all new tracks and this weekend will be no different.

“Another new track, but it’s closer to home,” she said. “I’ve heard good things about the track. This season has been like picking up a new book to read; every night is a new chapter and a new learning experience.”

The two-day show this Friday and Saturday is also beneficial for Beierle.

“I’m excited to get out Friday and learn and then apply that to Saturday’s show,” she said. “My goal every night is to pick up lap times as the night goes on.”

Racing in 2017 has been a challenge for the young driver and going to new tracks every night can be frustrating, but Beierle keeps the learning process in perspective.

“The question I get asked a lot by fans is when do you practice,” she said. “In this sport there really isn’t much practice. You go out and race and learn. I’m racing against some of the best drivers in the country who have been doing this a lot longer than me. The challenge is to keep that in perspective. I have to remind myself constantly that it takes time to be successful in this sport.

“It motivates me to work harder. Racing is such a mental game. You can doubt yourself and get negative or you can watch and learn and grow. Knowing I have won in other divisions and I’m getting faster each time out, along with the support of my family and my team, helps me believe in myself.”
